As a Registered Dietitian, you will:
oCommunicates with all team members in order to coordinate nutritional services and to meet patient needsoParticipates in the care process to provide patients with an extraordinary patient experienceoAssesses patient's nutritional status, formulates an appropriate nutritional plan and educates the patient and/or caregiveroEvaluates effectiveness of instruction, patient response, plans for discharge and documents visits and phone calls using a point of care device oProvides staff with educational programs to support increased dietary knowledge that supports patient outcomesQualifications include:
oBachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics requiredo1 year experience as a registered dietitian in a healthcare settingoMaryland Licensure as a Registered DietitianoActive registration with American Dietetic AssociationoValid American Heart Association CPR CertificationoValid driver's license with agency insurance requirementsAt Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
