Superstar Medical Assistant opening for NEW Dermatology Practice!

Full Time Dermatology Medical Assistant Superstar needed!
NEW Dermatology practice is seeking professional, friendly, customer service driven Medical Assistants. Certificate not required, combination of experience and on-job training is adequate.
Position would start end of June beginning of July.
Candidates should have experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment. Working knowledge of EMR/Nextech a great asset.
MUST have a great attitude, able to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently.
Responsible for rooming patients; obtaining current medical history, taking vitals, and recording chief complaints (must be detail oriented). Helping health care provider during examinations to include:
charting/diagramming, preparing laboratory specimens, and assisting with minor surgical procedures (biopsies and excisions). Comfortable with bandaging and suture removal. Educating patients with post-op instructions and medications. Calling in prescriptions, messages, sterilizing instruments, stocking rooms. Notify patients of lab results and schedule follow-up and surgical appointments as needed. Must be reliable. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. Change dressings on wounds. Inventory and order medical, lab, and office supplies and equipment as required. Other responsibilities as needed.
Experience in a clinical setting required, dermatology is preferred but other specialties will be seriously considered.
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
